It was her first time as a Latina, to write and direct her own television show. Her professional career started at Los Angeles after she moved from Texas. She has appeared in the roles of guest stars in television programs like Sons of Anarchy' and General Hospital. She was the writer of the TV series Mind of Mencia. Her TV performance was an actor and host on The View. She has also appeared in a few movies like The Angry Birds Movie'.
