They also arrested Taylor Wardlaw in connection with the death of his friend. According to the authorities, Eddie Brown (aged 30) is accused of being an accessory to the death of Sims. Sims was a 26-year-old man last seen at a home at Ervin Street in Columbia Dec. 20. Police say that Sims' girlfriend Wardlaw declared him missing December. 22. A body was discovered in a creek off Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner, Naida Rutherford, verified that the body belonged to Sims. Skip Holbrook, the chief of Columbia Police says Wardlaw has been arrested for murder, as well having a gun in the execution of a violent offense.
