Aura Garcia Sanchez is a Spanish actress who has appeared in Spanish films and television. Her roles included films such as Stockholm and the television show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid in the year 1989. Garrido's father Tomas Garrido is a composer and conductor of orchestras, while their mother Pilar Sanchez, works as an artist. At the age of four, she took the first piano lessons and started to learn ballet. She had a best friend who spoke English which taught her to speak the language. After she had completed her high school studies, she joined into the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico. The school taught the interpretation of texts and interpretive techniques in her third year. This role earned she recognition with the Silver Biznaga for best supporting actress, as well as an Goya Awards nomination in the top breakthrough actress category, among other nominations.
