Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue ellis-taylor, an American actor and stage actress and producer. Her most well-known work is as a film actress for her role in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School for the Art New York University. Aunjanue is an actress for theater and film as well as an actor and producer. Her first job was acting in the theatre before going on to make appearances in numerous TV programs, as well as independent and mainstream films. The actress became famous for her role as Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico as well as on BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. Both of the roles she received critical acclaim and various nominations and prizes, including her first award, the Television Critics Choice Award for Best Actress. She made her professional acting debut as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest in 1995. The actress has appeared as a character on Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her film work she's most popular for the roles she played in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Also, she is well-known for her part in ABC's crime-drama High Incident.
